“Sa tandang eto, ikaw ay magtatagumpay”
I first saw this quote “In Hoc Signo Vinces” which means “Sa tandang ito, ikaw ay magtatagumpay” in a good book that I finished reading when I was still a high school student. In hoc signo vinces means “Under this sign (the sign of the Cross) you will win.”
Until now, I love reading books for my self-improvement and some of them are for my spiritual growth. I think we all need food to eat enable to survive, but I think that we also need some food for the soul and some wisdoms that reading good books will provide. We just have to pick the right books with good content, of course. π
This year 2024, I saw this quote for two times in different locations unexpectedly.
First, it was when I attended a mass in Sto. NiΓ±o La Paz Greenbelt Chapel on February 2024 . And the second one was during my visit in one of pilgrimage sites in Siaulia, Lithuania, the Hill of Crosses. I also decided to leave the pink rosary that I was using since college days in the Hill of Crosses.

Imagine, I have never seen that quote since I read that book but this year I saw it for two times! Unexpectedly, seeing that quote for two times this year makes me believe that it’s all for the good. It’s a sign to keep going. It’s a sign that blessings are on the way. No need to rush, just keep on praying and have the faith.
Let us all trust and believe in the power of writing down your dreams and in the magic of timing.
β‘οΈ Believe in the power of writing down your dreamsβ¨
Flashback… I was preparing and reviewing for the Dentist Licensure Examination on 2017 when one of the lecturers in UP Manila Review discussed about the prayer to St. Joseph of Cupertino.

She also emphasized the power of writing and believing in your dreams. I will never forget that moment. So, I wrote this.

I studied and worked hard. I believed in the power of prayer and my request was granted.
Here’s another dream. The photo was taken during my trip with my female friends on 2019 in Osaka, Japan. I saw this photo and I put down my dream in one of my IG highlights. I claimed that someday I will visit this continent and it happened again.

Even until now, I still write down notes in my personal diary about my dreams. I know that writing down dreams really helps.
So, I encourage you dear reader to write down your dream. You have to be specific with your dream. Work hard for it, pray for it and if those dreams are really for you then the Lord will answer your prayer in His beautiful time. I’ve seen it many times and it might be a clichΓ© but I truly believe in this quote “What’s for you has already your name on it.”
Sometimes, what we ask from the Lord comes easy. Oftentimes, the process requires a display of perseverance. Perhaps God is using this time for us to discover untapped potential. Not only will our prayers be answered, we will GROW because of them as well.
One of my realizations is don’t be shy to write and tell the Lord about your dreams. Our God is a great God and He really answers prayers, sometimes bigger and better than what we asked for.
β‘οΈ Believe in the magic of timing
I will end this post with a quote said by one of my fave book authors and speaker, Bo Sanchez: “Trust that the blessing will come at the right time. Why? Timing is everything. A right gift given at the wrong time is still the wrong gift.”
May we all succeed in life.
Love lots, A π
