Feeble midge boy,
So jagged and worn,
Without someone to love him,
Since he was born
His fingers so filthy,
His empty face is void,
Of attention and laughter,
His skin is full of rashes
Bruises on his knees,
Scars on his shoulder,
But inside the wound hurts more,
Than any external injury
Asking for some care,
Yelling for unconditional love,
Yearning for acceptance,
Why did he suffer this penance?
He begs for compassion,
Just kindness and warm stare he pleads for,
Just a moment of peace,
Out of lifeβs confused dimness.
Poor street boy,
Unwanted, single, alone
The ground his mattress,
The sidewalk his home
Sharing here the poem entitled Street Penniless Boy that I wrote when I was still a high school student that was published two times. It was first published in the official school paper of Saint John School, The Excelsior and the second one was in the official school paper of Centro Escolar University Malolos, The Malolos Academe. I love to write. If I am not a dentist today, I would be a writer.

Thank you for reading. π
Love lots, A π
