When you love your job and when you love what you are doing, it feels that you are not working at all!

We all have a job, a career or a profession. However, our Lord Jesus Christ invites us to so much more. I believe that the invitation is for us to upgrade our vocation for the greater glory of God.

I used to think that doing dental service and doing some charity are my additional life’s purpose but after some realization, I find joy and fulfillment again in my heart everytime I write something. Writing that will act as an inspiration to other people is my other calling aside from dentistry.

My dear reader, if God wants to expand your life and asking you to upgrade your job description, just say YES to Him. You are not just an engineer who builds elegant home, tall buildings and structures. You are an engineer who are building for the Kingdom of God. You are not just a businessman. You are in the business of winning souls. You are not just a salesman selling and offering the products of your company. You are also offering salvation in Jesus Christ. You are not just a teacher who teaches the students. You are a teacher who teaches for the glory of God.

In my case, I am not just a dentist who would treat the oral disease of my patient. I am also upgrading my job here with a deeper purpose by sharing and spreading the word of God. There is so much more to your work.

Whatever field you are in, you are in that industry for a godly purpose. So please use it productively and in a godly way.
