People would say yes because they know love do exist. There are so many couple out there who stood by each other and are still together right now. But truth be told, there are still plenty of couples who don’t work out – at young age or not. Many Filipinos would joke around and sarcastically say, “Walang forever” (There is no forever) and “Ang sweet nila oh! Magbibreak din yan!” (They are so sweet. But they will break up soon). But as I’ve learned, unfailing love is still possible despite the fact that there are many couples breaking up around.

First thing to do to have that perfectly imperfect love is wisely choosing your mate. “It is simply not proper to develop a romantic attachment for just anyone who comes along. As a Roman Catholic my desire to marry, then, is wise to wait patiently for the one I can truly love.” The quoted text says it all. Nothing more to contest about it.

Then, the only thing you have to do when you are in a relationship already is always keep God between you and your mate. You and your partner will fight, will have misunderstandings and stuff because that is normal but putting God between you is the perfect key for that long-lasting relationship despite your indifferences.

Some of my friends are so lucky, they got to meet their first love then they got married. I guess I need to experience so many life lessons before I can actually meet my man. Actually, sometimes I wish I could just know my future partner’s name. Just his name so that I won’t be in a wrong relationship again. I am getting emotional. “LORD BAKA NAMAN PO PWEDE SA SUSUNOD NA SUMUGAL AKO SA  ISANG TAO, IPANALO NYO NA PO AKO AT HINDI KO NA KAILANGANG MAGTRAVEL PARA MAKALIMOT. If I will be asked, if I believe in long distance relationship (LDR). Yes, I do believe in the power of LDR as long as there is a constant communication between the two people. Right now, there are many ways to maintain communication through the help of technology. My parents are actually from a successful LDR before that’s why if God will give me LDR, I will definitely embrace His plan. My dad worked as the secretary of a sheikh in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia before while my mom is working as a dentist in the Philippines. They both made it. However, if I will be blessed to experience a lovely close relationship with the one person God has for me, I will also be grateful. Lord please let my future man be safe, happy, may he win and be successful in life. May our paths collide in Your time and Your will. I really wish the best for my future man… 🥹
