Dentist by profession, writer by heart 💞
I feel like God is calling me to share my life testimony and inspire other people to answer their own God’s calling.
I struggled to know God’s calling in my life. You might think that’s strange. After all, she’s a licensed dentist by profession.
Here are two reasons:
First, I really saw myself as a writer.
God also blessed me with the ability to write. I dreamt of being a journalist before because I love writing ever since I was still a highschool and college student. It amazes me how words could be a source of encouragement and inspiration to someone’s life who are reading my articles in the official school paper of my school.
Second, I felt the pressure of serving the Lord by joining a religious vocation/profession.
I am not perfect. As a human, I commit mistakes but I know that I want to serve the Lord in my own unique way. During pandemic year of 2020, I started having guidance of Hugot Madre’s spiritual director from Bataan if serving the Lord by joining a nun is for me. I thought that it was my calling but after some prayers & guidance through an online meeting everyday, I found out that it was not meant for me. This is the reason why I am doing community service. Religious life might not be my calling but I felt that this is my own little way of serving the Lord.
Through the years, God made me realize on how I could serve with my own gifts and love for our Lord. My calling is to be a dentist, be a writer and at the same time, be a Lord’s servant by doing some volunteer works, participating in dental missions and sharing my testimony to increase someone’s faith play a very significant role in my life right now.
How about you? Do you know what is your calling?
May this story be an inspiration to everyone who are searching for their own calling.
Whoever reading this, may God lead you to know yourself more and your mission in life. And if God is calling you to have a vocation upgrade then just say YES to God’s calling.
Whatever calling you are in, do it all for the glory of God.
Thank you for reading. All the best for you!
Love lots, A 💞
