I used to work as a student journalist. In a publication, there is actually a person who works as a copyreader or a copy writer.  There is usually a collaborative work between the authors and copyreader for the benefit of the book, magazine, newspaper or any article that will be published. 

It is important that people should know that not all writers are copyreaders. The duty and responsibility of a copyreader is to correct the grammatical errors of the writer and authors. 

I’ve never been a copy reader so in case you noticed that there are some grammar errors in my writing, I sincerely apologize but I try to edit and check all my works just in case I am missing something. I worked before and met copyreaders as I joined the school paper and I think the org build my skills and taught me life lessons. I got a small salary from the school paper when I was studying, but I believe that no amount of money can compare to the articles a writer shares.

In life, there is no copyreader who would correct our errors.

Some mistakes once done, some people will post you in the internet, some will bash you and even let you down. I noticed that because I always saw some posts in the internet and whether we like to admit it or not some say words of affirmation while others would give negative words. Sometimes, I even judged people. It’s a common human failure and it would be best to simply learn from our mistakes.

When someone gossips about you, you don’t have to always clear your name. I observed that European countries are progressive because the people there usually don’t mind other people’s business. In the Philippines, people tend to gossip and look for other people’s fault and failures. We will be more productive if we focus in our self improvement and our own journeys. Trust me, it will lead you to a better life! 

Let us be like the author and copyreader who would have joint forces to improve their job.
